Why is the BLOG so important? TRAFFIC. More traffic, more business. You can expect a 3% sales rate out of the traffic, so your focus should be MORE TRAFFIC, Visitors! The blog is a marketing tool. I must say, very effective. If you have a website without a blog or don’t utilize it, you are limiting the websites Marketing ability.

The Blog is like the smell of a bakery you walk past everyday. The Aroma entices you stop in frequently to buy a pastry or cup of coffee. Just as the smell of the bakery, the blog drags in more traffic to your site. If you are not adding to that mundane, boring website where the content never changes, the visits will be nil or very few. One of the keys to getting more traffic is to add a blog and at the very least submit content to it once a week. Give people a reason to come back and or tell others where to get your information.

If you expect to succeed in the long run you must pace your self. How many times have you read a self-help book, gotten advice or attended a lecture and tried every thing a source has said. If you have picked up any book chances are you have tried other diets before. I focus hard at convincing my clients to concentrate on the steps that they can simply do. What do I mean by that, I mean pick the easiest endeavor and conquer it first? Don’t try to accomplish your most difficult undertaking and don’t try to accomplish everything at once. You will only set yourself up for failure. No human and I mean no human can achieve all that is right or good for you.

(1) Too many people have failed because they just add to much pressure to themselves. They try to conquer things that have been deeply ingrained internally for years. Instead of focusing on just losing weight or changing your body concentrate on certain steps needed to succeed. If you can accomplish this simple procedure you will make changes quickly. It’s the steps that will give you the best possible chance at succeeding.

(2) Get use to failing also. Failure is a only measure of momentary set back that allows you to learn from your mistakes and eliminate errors that will ingrain winning habits for you to persevere. If you do not try, you will not fail. If you do not fail you will not move forward and learn.

(3) Try to develop a bad memory, athletes do this all the time you cant win every quarter or game forever. If you eat food you felt you should not have, quickly forget about it, move forward and eat the next meal. Do not dwell on a setback just pick you back up and stay strong.

(4) Don’t focus too much on your shortcomings, because some things are just too stressful; they drain valuable energy required to make a difference and too time consuming to change overnight. Focus on the things you can do right and those things will make your life more productive. Most successful people get up and concentrate on bettering their game by attacking whatever is in their way, just conquer. You eat food you felt you should not have, quickly forget about it, move forward and eat the next meal. Do not dwell on a setback just pick yourself back up and stay strong.

Too many people blame everyone else but themselves. The good news is they will never run out of people or things to blame; too poor, racism, being a woman, being black, wrong neighborhood, no education, unsupportive parents, too broke etc.

Life is not fair. But, hard work, focus and drive renders greatly more results than what you are initiating today and works every time. Stop making excuses!

Learning how to manage your environment could be the single most important piece achieving your weight control

Can people develop the guts to do whatever it takes to achieve in business? This is a question that most people are afraid to ask themselves. It’s all good to learn the greatest sales presentations and techniques by attending numerous training courses, but what good are they, when you can’t even muster up the courage to go out there perform to utilize all that knowledge.

How do you develop the mental toughness to get into the business arena and perform? Its not the proverbial happy go lucky positive attitude or the monotonous motivational talks. Drumming up “mental toughness” every morning when you wake up is the key.

Anthony Robbins said it right think of what will happen if you do not take action today. Will you lose your home? Not have enough income for family vacations? Lack the funds for retirement? Have no capital for family emergencies.

Do yourself a favor stop making excuses, and step up to the plate and just perform. You must develop a back-bone plan.

You must develop a courage plan to compete. Business is very competitive and mentally draining endeavor. You must develop the mental toughness of a top competitor such as a world leader, top CEO’s and athletes.

Learning how to manage your environment could be the single most important aspect of achieving success in your life. I recommend a book I have read numerous times and use as a road map to help me stay focused to give 100% daily.

Click the Image Below “Today” and try the book “Stress for Success,” it will allow you to get the mental toughness to conquer the most difficult tasks daily that it takes to succeed. Such as performing those sales calls, driving the sales and marketing plan and simply giving yourself an opportunity to get the most out of every area of your life.

7 Reasons Why Exercise is Important, Why it’s Difficult for Most & 3 Ways to Really Motivate Yourself!

About Jenny Shaw

“I hold a Masters degree in Education and Counseling, a Bachelors degree in Psychology, Minor in Sociology, and am Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have a passion for people, listening to and understanding their life journeys, advocating for their needs, educating and supporting them through trials and tribulations, and guiding them towards long term emotional, physical, and spiritual health; their authentic self.

I have several years of experience working with couples, individuals, groups, families, school and court systems, and communities. I am passionate for ‘different’ cultures, ethnicities, ideologies, backgrounds, religious and spiritual beliefs. Currently, I have a private practice on the island of Maui while also serving as the Behavioral Health Specialist for the state of Hawaii.”

What are the benefits of exercise?
“In my opinion, the benefits of exercise are too many to simply state, but for the purposes of this article I will name the seven most recognized for the general public.

Exercise improves our moods,

Helps us fight against health issues and diseases,

Improves our sex life,

Helps to manage weight,

Improves our sleep habits,

Boosts energy, and

Can be fun.

Regular exercise is a wonderful way to de-stress, manage stress, cope with feelings, gain a sense of control, build a stronger self-esteem, accomplishment, and ‘ground’ us as we are confronted with daily challenges and responsibilities.

Keeping a regular exercise routine promotes structure in our daily activities thus, promoting, better sleep, and consistent overall health care (watching our food intake, managing our medications, attending our regular doctor’s appointments, securing proper hygiene, etc).

When one feels better internally, it (for the most part) generates into feeling good externally thus, our energy and desire for sex and intimacy is enhanced.

Finally, exercise is a great way to have fun! To celebrate living! Just think about it, even spectators of a game (basketball, Football, etc) are engaging socially, celebrating, and demonstrating great boosts of energy’”now, when one actually participates’”ooohhh! What a rush!! What a great way to meet new people, build new relationships, engage in the community, and even learn a new skill!”

What makes it difficult for some people to be motivated to exercise?
“Motivation is a phenomenal thing! With regards to exercise, the definition; ‘that which gives purpose and direction to behavior’ tells us that in order to be motivated to exercise, we must have a reason, and in many cases, a darn good one!

Some find this ‘reason’ easier than others. Some have an innate desire to be a professional athlete, thus, consistent practice (exercise) is the key to their goal for sure. Some people are what I would describe as ‘concrete thinking’ exercisers. These individuals find it pretty easy to exercise when they have a concrete goal, i.e. completing a six week boot camp, losing ten pounds or running a marathon.

When the goal is achieved, the race finished, the pounds lost, they either quit or ‘take a break’– for unless they have another goal already secured in their brain, they will be ‘off the exercise wagon for a while.’

Finally, others really struggle with being motivated to exercise. They hate to sweat, feel embarrassed, don’t have time (ever), have some physical challenges they believe to be too much to work through or they just plain hate exercise; even the words ‘gym or fitness center’ seem foreign to them.

No matter the case, having the motivation to exercise is individual and there is no right or wrong, in my view. So if you are the ‘concrete thinking’ exerciser and it works for you, Great! If you are the continually ‘non-motivated’ exerciser, my first question would be,’ Do you want to change that?’ If so, ‘why?’ and/or ‘why not?’ In other words, if you are looking for motivation, do not hold your breath, it doesn’t just come to you (at least not long term). One must create the motivation. If you find yourself motivated to exercise ONLY because your spouse is telling you to, odds are it may not become a routine. If, on the other hand, you CHOOSE to exercise no matter who is telling you what, you are creating your own motivation. It’s all in your thinking—you are that powerful!”

What are some exercise motivation tips for the unmotivated?
“As mentioned above, one of the very best ways to CREATE motivation to exercise is to identify your goals, identify the thinking or beliefs you have surrounding the goal, educate yourself about them, develop a plan, get support, and go for it!

A great example would be, if I have always wanted to complete a marathon, but my motivation is low because I am sure I can’t do it, don’t have someone to run it with, am embarrassed of how I will look etc., odds are I am going to keep putting this desire off and yet, still talk about it. However, if I were to look at this goal in a different light, I would identify my goal, write down all of the beliefs or thinking I have about attaining the goal, break the ‘big’ goal down into little ones, problem solve’”educate myself on how to turn those negative thoughts around, develop a plan, FOLLOW the plan (yes, believe it or not, many miss this piece), and just to keep my motivation high, reward myself for every little goal achieved along the way.

Having an exercise partner or partners is very motivational!

When one of you is feeling like ‘bagging the exercise for the day’ the other is designated as cheerleader and both end up feeling accomplished, needed, and successful.

Making ‘appointments’ for the gym can help to establish structure—we all have a much harder disappointing others than ourselves. Again, this is accountability, personal choice’”not force’”this is all empowerment.

Choosing activities that best suit your needs, likes, goals, and abilities is undoubtedly a strong motivator. How long do you really think I am going to continue a swim program if I am deathly afraid of the water? There is no good or bad exercise. What fits for you is just right!

As part of your goals, recognizing and preventing triggers that might prevent you from completing your exercise routine is very important. Part of this might be the time of day that would be best to secure an exercise routine and where.

Creating my own motivation is empowering, thus it actually re-energizes me to continue to exercise simply because I have already seen that I can do it and it’s all on me! No one made me exercise because I did it myself! You can create your own motivation too!”

I am passionate about LOVE; what it means, how it is shown, giving it, receiving it. I believe Love to be the most important ‘language’ we human beings will ever know. It is our essential need’”far more required than food, water, and shelter.

It is why we do all that we do whether it is negative or positive. Love is so desperately desired that when we fear of losing it, we react in anger, tears, resentment, blame and self-harm. Love is everywhere and worthy of all. It is why we have memories, celebrations, creations, and motivation. It is that awesome.

In summary, to those who know me, I am the original ‘mushball’ and might I add, damn proud of it!”

What are some 7 great romantic date ideas you can give for people who are dating?

“So, you want to make that special someone feel as special as you see them, but believe you don’t have a romantic bone in your body no matter how hard you pray for one to magically appear? Let me reassure you my friends, you do!

Romance is, well, may I be so cliche’ to say; ‘in the eye of the beholder.’ First, recognize what YOUR definition of romance is, then plan a way your definition and his/hers can combine. Love and Romance are not perfect it’s how you two are perfect together that matters most.

In other words, dear ones, just showing genuine respect, attention, concern, and freedom towards another is Love and I say that’s romantic!

The following 7 ideas, I hope, will help guide you towards the development of your own romantic date ‘”you add or take way whatever works best for you and your special someone.

1. Be thoughtful. Nothing speaks louder than genuine thoughtfulness. You know how much she loves massages so surprise her with a day at her favorite spa. And if you really want to make it extra special, join her. Yes, JOIN her! The both of you deserve to be pampered and joining in on the gift demonstrates how much you want to thoroughly share such a wonderful experience.

2. Make the date memorable. We all remember great dates. Some of the best are shared with friends and family simply because they tugged our heart strings crazily. Create a scene of ambience; candlelit dinner, live violin music, rose pedals scattered about; all under a starlit night by the water.

3. For the sport enthusiasts surprise them with a camping trip. What can bring two together more than sleeping under the stars, hiking in the enchanted forest, taking in nature’s gifts through your eyes, ears, nose, and heart.

4. Be creative by remembering your first meeting? Remember the feelings, the wonders, and the questions; the feelings she/he ignited? Take them back to that place, replay it, share all the thoughts and emotions that you remember arising — .then, replay your first actual date.

5. Be adventurous. How about a hot air balloon ride at sunset with champagne in hand?

6. Be outrageous and show your silly side. Be willing to make a fool out of yourself in public. Announce your presence to her in front of her colleagues dressed as a clown with the obligation to kidnap her for the rest of the day! Note: This works a lot better when you call the boss ahead of time making sure that’s a good day. You might even serenade her’”can’t carry a tune you say, so what! This is romance for your special someone NOT American Idol. Then, let the kidnapping begin!

7. Be YOU! Announce (Renounce) your adoration through words. A love letter, a poem or a song is great ways for you to express your feelings. Take her shopping for a nice new outfit as the two of you will be off on an elegant evening specifically designed just the way you have always loved it. For me, some of my most treasured ‘dates’ are when my loved one and I simply danced in our pajamas to our favorite ‘”well, him humming our favorite song, watched a great flick while snuggling by the fireplace, toasted our happiness for just being exactly how it was, and laughed the night away!”
